Santos to receive $600,000 for Sudamericana last-16 progress | OneFootball

Santos will receive $600,000, about R$ 3 million, for reaching the Copa Sudamericana last 16.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Cuca’s side beat UCV of Venezuela 8-3 on aggregate in the playoffs and will face Macará of Ecuador next.

The first leg is slated for 11-13 August and the return for 18-20 August, with Conmebol to confirm final details.

Santos have earned $1,525,000 so far. That includes $300,000 for taking part in the group stage and $125,000 for their only group win, against Deportivo Cuenca of Ecuador.

They also banked $500,000 for reaching the playoff round, plus $600,000 for advancing to the last 16.

The competition’s prize ladder continues with $700,000 for the quarter-finals and $800,000 for the semi-finals, then $2.5 million for the runners-up and $10 million for the champions.
