Having fallen to a 4-0 defeat in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid, FC Barcelona have a very difficult task awaiting them in the second leg, which is set to be played at the Camp Nou on 3rd March.
The Catalans would be reinforced with the return of some key players, including the likes of Raphinha, Pedri, and Marcus Rashford. There is no doubt that the return of these players would improve the chances of the Blaugranes’ mounting a comeback.
However, the former Barcelona forward Sergio Aguero believed that another player, who was already playing for the Catalans on Thursday, can be the decisive player, i.e., Lamine Yamal. As SPORT has reported, the Argentine was talking to the journalist Gerard Romero on the 3Cat’s ‘Fanzone’ program, when he made the following comments:
“Anything is possible. If Lamine lights up, that’s it.”
Aguero went on to reveal how Yamal made him watch and enjoy football again:
“The truth is that I hadn’t been watching much football, but since Lamine started doing well, it made me want to watch it again.”
There is no doubt that Lamine Yamal has the ability to turn a game around by himself. Hopefully, he will be able to do so in the second leg to help Barcelona get into the final.
