Venezia ‘to consider move for’ Fisayo Dele-Bashiru after Serie A return | OneFootball

Venezia are assessing a move for Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru after their Serie A return, according to Damiano Er Faina.

The Manchester City academy graduate joined Lazio in summer 2024 after a spell with Hatayspor in Türkiye. He has seven goals and four assists from 57 appearances, showing flashes without consistently hitting top form under Marco Baroni or Maurizio Sarri.

Lazio could be open to cashing in on the 25-year-old. His deal in Rome runs to summer 2028.

Venezia won Serie B last season and are building to avoid an immediate drop. They have already taken Toma Basic from Lazio on a free after he turned down Claudio Lotito’s late renewal offer. Any Dele-Bashiru move would require talks with Claudio Lotito.

Sky Sports previously reported that Manchester United had placed the Nigerian international on a shortlist, though those links soon cooled.
