Inter and Parma played out a goalless draw on matchday 3 of the Women’s Serie A. At the Arena Civica in Milano, Piovani’s Nerazzurre controlled large parts of the game and created several chances, but they were unable to find the decisive touch to break down Parma’s disciplined defence.

Inter started brightly, with Ivana Andres firing narrowly over from distance in the second minute. The Nerazzurre then kept possession and probed for spaces against a compact and alert Parma side. In the 30th minute, Milinkovic tried her luck from distance, but her shot was off target. The best chance of the first half came in the 41st minute, when Andres delivered a precise cross from the right for Vilhjalmsdottir, who headed narrowly wide. The teams went into half-time level at 0-0 after a competitive first half.

In the second half, Inter increased the tempo and pressed with intent. In the 59th minute, Polli struck a left-footed effort from the edge of the box, but it went over. The biggest opportunity of the match arrived in the 73rd minute: Bugeja drove down the left and delivered a cross for Glionna, who hit the post and then just missed on the rebound. The Nerazzurre continued to search for a winner until the final whistle. Glionna was once again involved in the 80th minute as she crossed for Tomaselli, who controlled with her chest and attempted a volley, but it lacked the power to trouble the goalkeeper from a great position. After five minutes of stoppage time, the referee blew the final whistle, confirming a goalless draw.
