Another stoppage time equaliser denied Albion albeit a draw with Leicester City was probably a fair result. The Foxes look strong enough to be challenging for a top two spot this season, so it was not a bad result, but with two tricky away games coming up, the Baggies need to get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.

Mason changed things up a little starting two of the late signings in Charlie Taylor and Samuel Iling-Junior and the Villa loanee showed what he is capable of with a wonderful solo goal to open the scoring.

Looking ahead to game 8 – only once in our comparison seasons have the Baggies won their eighth game of the campaign when playing away from home, but that was a fairly memorable one – a 5-0 win at Middlesbrough in 2009.
