Antoine Semenyo: Manchester City complete £62.5m Bournemouth deal, five-and-a-half-year contract to 2031 | OneFootball

Manchester City have completed the signing of forward Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth on a five-and-a-half-year contract to June 2031. The fee is £62.5 million plus £1.5 million in bonuses.

His final appearance for Bournemouth was Wednesday's home match against Tottenham Hotspur, where he scored an added-time winner in a 3-2 victory. He has 10 goals and three assists in 21 appearances this season.

City will pay the fee across 24 months, and Bournemouth are entitled to 10 per cent of the profit from any future sale. The agreement did not trigger his release clause, and the south-coast club receive more than that fixed amount.

Semenyo joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023, scoring 32 goals and supplying 13 assists in 110 appearances.

City are next in action against League One Exeter City in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
