Antoine Semenyo signs for Manchester City in €75m deal | OneFootball

Antoine Semenyo has joined Manchester City from Bournemouth in a €75 million transfer confirmed on Friday. According to L'Équipe, the Ghana forward has agreed a contract to 2031 and will wear number 42, previously worn by Yaya Touré.

The move comes only days after his final Bournemouth appearance. On Wednesday he scored a pivotal goal in a 3-2 win over Tottenham.

Semenyo, 26, has 32 caps and 3 goals for Ghana. He made 110 appearances for Bournemouth, scoring 32 times and adding 13 assists.

He is available for selection on Saturday for the FA Cup tie against Exeter, from the third tier.

Bournemouth continue a strong run of sales after last summer’s departures. Illya Zabarnyi moved to PSG for €63 million excluding add-ons, Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid for €60 million and Milos Kerkez to Liverpool for €47 million.
