Lorient beat Marseille 2-0 on Saturday, and three of their players feature in the Ligue 1 team of the week for matchday 30. Lyon, Lens and Angers are also well represented.
L'Équipe reports that Bamba Dieng and Panos Katséris lead the attack, while Arthur Avom Ebong is picked in midfield after initiating the opener and impressing with his industry.
Lyon beat PSG 2-1 on Sunday night. Afonso Moreira scored and delivered an assist for Endrick, while Orel Mangala made several decisive interceptions. Paulo Fonseca was named coach of the week.
For Lens, centre-back Ismaëlo Ganiou headed in from a corner in the 91st minute to complete a remarkable comeback. Matthieu Udol appears for the fifth time this season, reaffirming his status among Ligue 1’s leading full-backs.
Rennes striker Estéban Lepaul leads the line after a standout display against Strasbourg, a 3-0 win that brought a goal and an assist. He is now out on his own at the top of the scoring charts on 17.
Angers goalkeeper Hervé Koffi made seven saves in the 1-1 draw with Le Havre, reinforcing his status as the season’s best goalkeeper with an average rating of 6.04. His team-mate at SCO, Branco Van den Boomen, also makes the XI, alongside Brendan Chardonnet. The Brest captain struck his first goal of the season in the 96th minute to rescue a 1-1 draw at Nantes.
