Real Madrid once again reminded everyone why they are the most successful team in the Champions League by securing a comprehensive 5-1 aggregate win over Manchester City in the Round of 16.

However, Alvaro Arbeloa’s men will have a more daunting task ahead as his side is slated to take on Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals.

While there is some time still left for the quarterfinals, Bayern Munich fans are already prepared.

Bayern Munich fans’ provocative chants against Real Madrid

Shortly after Bayern Munich’s win over Atalanta in the second leg, the club’s fans at the Allianz Arena already reminded everyone that they are thinking about Real Madrid.

Just when the Bayern Munich players were facing the crowd after the game, a section of the fans chanted, “Madrid, Madrid, we sh*t on Madrid.”

The fans were clearly referring to Bayern Munich’s quarterfinal assignment against Real Madrid, which will be played after the international break.

It appears the Bayern fans are quite confident of their team beating Madrid, and few can blame them as the Bavarians have been on a sublime run of form.

In the Bundesliga, the German giants have a clear nine-point lead at the top and have scored 93 goals in 26 matches.

Even in the Champions League, Bayern Munich secured an aggregate win of 10-2 over Atalanta, who are no slouches.

Real Madrid, therefore, have their task cut out as they lock horns against the Bavarians next month. Fortunately for Los Blancos, they have been blessed with the return of talismanic forward Kylian Mbappe while Vinicius Jr. is in good form.

Real Madrid may also get back at least five players from injury after the international break, which could significantly improve their chances of doing well against the German giants.
