Bayern ‘to reject’ €100 million bids for Karl amid Real Madrid interest | OneFootball

Bayern Munich are said to be unwilling to entertain bids for Karl unless they comfortably clear €100 million, amid rumoured interest from Real Madrid.

Bild claims the club would only even open talks at a figure well beyond that mark, and that a sale is not seriously on the agenda at Säbener Straße. The report also indicates €100 million would probably not be enough.

The teenager has enjoyed a breakout season under Vincent Kompany, establishing himself in the first team and drawing widespread praise. He has previously described Real Madrid as his dream destination.

Karl is under contract until 2028, with an automatic extension to 2029 due on his 18th birthday on 22 February. The report adds that Bayern intend to secure a new deal running until at least 2031 before the World Cup, with talks under way with his agent, Michael Ballack.

This season he has made 27 appearances for Bayern across all competitions, scoring seven goals and supplying three assists.
