Beşiktaş ‘to make’ new bid for Lucas Piton | OneFootball

Beşiktaş have revived their push to sign Vasco da Gama left-back Lucas Piton and could lodge a new offer this window, with talks ongoing, Fanatik reports.

The Istanbul club previously tabled an initial €4 million, about R$24.8 million, which Vasco rejected. The Brazilian side value the 24-year-old higher, noting his dual Brazilian and Italian nationality.

Even so, the door remains open. Vasco have indicated they will return to the table if the numbers rise to what the club consider fair.

Beşiktaş’s interest follows a favourable internal assessment of Piton. Club analysts highlighted his attacking output and two-way work, identifying him as a fit for a mid-season addition.

Vasco are preparing for potential movement. Talks over Juninho Capixaba of Bragantino have accelerated, and previous attempts for Cuiabano point to plans to replace their number six quickly if a sale happens.
