Brentford are among Premier League sides to have registered interest in Fulham winger Harry Wilson this month, a prospect sharpened by the west London rivalry.

According to BBC Sport, Aston Villa, Everton and Crystal Palace are also monitoring the 28-year-old ahead of the two February deadline. He is out of contract at the end of the season. The report adds that Wilson wants clarity on Marco Silva’s future before agreeing an extension.

Silva has said there is “zero chance” of a January sale, even if Fulham risk losing him for free in the summer. The head coach is also in the final months of his deal, and Wilson was his first signing in 2021.

Wilson has 12 goals and five assists for club and country this season, including six in his last 12 outings. His strike against Crystal Palace won December’s Goal of the Month.

Fulham are in talks with Manchester City over winger Oscar Bobb in a £35m deal. The 22-year-old Norway international mainly plays on the right, and it is unclear if that interest relates to Wilson’s situation.

Wilson has tormented Brentford before, with four goals in three appearances, including a stoppage-time double in last season’s 2-1 win. Since joining from Liverpool, he has 33 goals in 171 games and remains a key figure at Craven Cottage.
