Harry Wilson’s (28) contract talks with Fulham have been placed on hold as interest in the Wales international continues to build across the Premier League, BBC Sport reports.

The 28-year-old is approaching the final months of his deal at Craven Cottage, with no agreement yet reached despite Fulham making his renewal a priority. Sources indicate Wilson is keen to gain clarity over the future of head coach Marco Silva, himself out of contract in the summer, before committing his long-term future to the club.

Wilson’s form has only heightened the stakes. He has emerged as one of Fulham’s standout performers this season, scoring seven Premier League goals and contributing five assists, while netting six times in his past 12 appearances in all competitions. That run has prompted growing interest from rival top-flight sides, with Aston Villa, Brentford, Everton, and Crystal Palace all monitoring his situation ahead of the 2 February deadline.

Despite the risk of losing Wilson on a free transfer, Silva has insisted there is “zero chance” of a January departure. However, Fulham’s position could be tested if they succeed in recruiting Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb, with talks ongoing over a potential £35m deal.

Wilson, who joined Fulham from Liverpool in 2021, has made 171 appearances for the club and become a central figure in Silva’s side. With his contract winding down and suitors circling, the coming months could prove decisive for both player and club.
