Casemiro has never stopped attracting interest from Saudi Arabia. Yet Manchester United is still trying to keep hold of their experienced midfielder. The club is looking to extend his contract… but only if he accepts a massive pay cut.

The Brazilian, whose deal is about to expire, could see his stay extended until 2027 thanks to a clause in his current contract. The issue? His £350,000-per-week salary is considered far too high by the club’s management.
