Authorities in Paris have prepared a sizeable security operation for PSG’s Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday at 21:00.

L'Équipe reports that the fixture has been graded three out of five by the national anti-hooliganism division, indicating a moderate level of risk.

To manage the event and welcome more than 2,000 visiting supporters, the Paris prefecture has mobilised seven police units, equating to between 560 and 700 officers from the CRS and the mobile gendarmes.

There is no particular antagonism between the two sets of fans, which sharply limits concerns both on the sporting front and in the stands.

Even so, recent incidents involving Paris ultras, notably a brawl around the weekend win over Angers, 3-0, mean the authorities remain watchful.
