Vasco president Pedrinho has been charged at the STJD over a post-match confrontation after the 3-3 draw with Cruzeiro at Mineirão on 15 March in Belo Horizonte. According to Globo.com, the complaint follows incidents immediately after the final whistle.

The STJD prosecutor’s office called the conduct extremely reprehensible and also cited midfielder Cauan Barros, physiotherapist Aldo Mattos and football manager Clauber Rocha. The case is based on the referee’s report and video evidence.

The file says Pedrinho confronted referee Lucas Paulo Torezin near the officials’ dressing room, speaking angrily and pointing a finger. He allegedly accused him of repeatedly harming Vasco away from home, cited a game at Palmeiras last year, criticised unawarded penalties and added time, called him arrogant, and warned his arrogance would precede his fall.

Barros was charged under article 254 of the CBJD for violent conduct, having been sent off in the second half for excessive force that endangered an opponent.

Mattos faces article 258 for conduct contrary to sporting discipline, alleged to have thrown a ball onto the pitch to delay a restart.

Rocha was cited under article 191 for breaching regulations after entering the field post-match to protest, in violation of access rules.

The prosecutor has requested proceedings for all four, with possible penalties from match suspensions to time-limited bans. No hearing date is set.
