Crysencio Summerville ‘completes’ £60m move from West Ham to Al-Hilal on four-year deal | OneFootball

Crysencio Summerville has completed a £60m move from West Ham to Al-Hilal on a four-year contract. According to The Athletic, the winger finalised terms after a medical in Amsterdam as part of a package just over €70m.

The deal was a priority for Al-Hilal's new ownership and sporting director Simon Francis.

Summerville had been expected to leave after West Ham's relegation to the Championship, despite a contract to 2029. Roma bid €46m earlier this month, Manchester United made enquiries and Aston Villa were also keen. Al-Hilal prevailed with a proposal reported at £55m plus £5m in add-ons.

The 24-year-old made 34 appearances last season, scoring seven and assisting five. Since joining from Leeds United in 2024, he played 56 times for West Ham.

He impressed at this summer's World Cup with two goals and two assists in four matches for the Netherlands, who lost to Morocco on penalties in the round of 32. He was among several West Ham players yet to report back for pre-season after the tournament.

His exit adds to sweeping changes at West Ham following relegation. Mateus Fernandes has joined Tottenham Hotspur for £85m, while captain Jarrod Bowen has signed a revised contract. They have secured one of the summer's biggest transfers as they build for the new season.
