Inter Milan have the top wage bill in Serie A for the 2025-26 season, with Juventus and Napoli next in line.
This according to Italian outlet Calcio e Finanza. The Nerazzurri’s wage bill for the campaign weighs in at €141.5 million gross per season.
In recent seasons, Inter have been making efforts to slash their wage bill.
That was obviously the case during the club’s financial difficulties in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdown.
However, the efforts have continued even as the financial situation has stabilized.
Inter owners Oaktree Capital have authorized a summer of relatively big spending in the transfer market.
However, at the same time, the club have largely signed young players who have had relatively low wages.

At the same time, Inter’s Derby d’Italia rivals Juventus have went to even greater lengths to lower their wage bill.
The Bianconeri had the highest wage bill in Serie A for a long period. However, for the past couple of seasons, they have dipped below Inter.
Inter’s wage bill for the 2025-26 season is €141.5 million gross per season.
Meanwhile, for Juventus that figure is €123.1 million gross per season.
Coming in third in the rankings are reigning champions Napoli. Their wage bill is €110 million gross per season.
