Leeds United’s injury picture has sharpened before Monday’s trip to Everton, with Daniel Farke issuing a quadruple update and Gabriel Gudmundsson a doubt.
According to Leeds Live, Gudmundsson has an adductor issue, missed training and is struggling, though there is hope he could recover in time.
Daniel James has resumed partial team training after more than two months out, but he is unlikely to be risked at Goodison Park.
Anton Stach appears close, having trained without any negative reaction, and is expected to be available for selection.
Jaka Bijol remains sidelined with a hamstring problem. His gym work is running ahead of the initial five-week estimate, and there is hope he could rejoin training in two or three weeks.
Everton’s depth could be tested, with up to eight first-team players missing. Jack Grealish is the latest high-profile casualty for Everton after a suspected bone fracture, further weakening their attacking options.
