Daniel Farke has named his Leeds United side to face Fulham at Elland Road, with Jaka Bijol and Anton Stach both missing. The reasons for their absence are not yet known.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the Whites are seeking a response this afternoon to last week’s 4-3 defeat at Newcastle that halted a seven-game Premier League unbeaten run. They remain eight points clear of the relegation places, a margin that could change today.

Earlier in the week Farke delivered positive news, with three defenders back in contention. Sebastiaan Bornauw’s adductor issue from Derby County was not as serious as feared, and Jayden Bogle and Joe Rodon have recovered from calf and ankle problems.

In goal, Karl Darlow starts after his FA Cup outing at Pride Park last weekend. Lucas Perri, who Farke has criticised recently, drops to the bench.

New signing Facundo Buonanotte, whose six-month loan from Brighton was confirmed on Thursday, could make his debut. Leeds United starting XI: Darlow, Justin, Rodon, Struijk, Bogle, Ampadu, Gruev, Aaronson, Gudmundsson, Okafor, Calvert-Lewin. Subs: Perri, Bornauw, Byram, Longstaff, Tanaka, Buonanotte, Gnonto, Piroe, Nmecha.
