Leeds United have confirmed Jack Harrison has joined Fiorentina on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The winger arrived in Florence on Friday for a medical and was later pictured in club colours. The deal includes an option to buy set at seven million euros, £6.06 million.
Harrison has made 13 appearances this season, with only one Premier League start. His only league outing since November was a late cameo at Brentford in December.
He started both of United’s cup ties at left-back, an unfamiliar role. Daniel Farke’s switch from 4-3-3 to 3-5-2 limited his minutes, with Gabriel Gudmundsson in form at wing-back.
After two seasons on loan at Everton due to a loan-exit clause signed in April 2023, he was reintegrated despite some summer hostility. Booed in pre-season, he later won over some critics with lively cameos.
A flat display in the 2-0 defeat to Burnley and a conceded penalty against Nottingham Forest, sandwiched between frustrating cup outings, further dimmed hopes of breaking into Farke’s first XI.
Harrison is contracted until 2028 and cost £11 million when he joined permanently in 2021. He becomes the second loan exit of the window after Harry Gray, who started his first senior game for Rotherham on Saturday.
He now heads to Stadio Artemio Franchi with Fiorentina just outside the relegation places.
