Leeds United are being linked with a summer move for Sunderland forward Wilson Isidor, with Football Insider reporting the Elland Road club are monitoring his situation ahead of the window and are expected to look at attacking reinforcements as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.

Isidor played a major role in Sunderland’s promotion and started the season brightly, but his minutes have dipped since Brian Brobbey became Régis Le Bris’s preferred central striker.

The 25-year-old has not started a Premier League game since early December and has scored once in his last 24 appearances. He has five league goals overall, and his reduced role has cast doubt on his long-term future.

Leeds want greater competition in attack. Daniel Farke has Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor in the picture, and Isidor is among the options under consideration.

Previous reports suggested Isidor could move on this summer to find more regular football. Everton and Nottingham Forest were linked in January, while Crystal Palace and Burnley were said to have explored late loan possibilities.

Sunderland were unwilling to weaken their squad mid-season while focusing on safety, but that stance could shift if suitable offers arrive. Isidor is under contract until 2028, with a January valuation of around £25m that may need to be lowered.

His situation forms part of a broader attacking review before Le Bris’s second Premier League season. Brobbey’s emergence has changed the pecking order and sporting director Florent Ghisolfi is expected to assess further forward additions this summer.
