RC Lens will look to put some pressure on league leaders Paris Saint-Germain when they host Stade Rennais this afternoon. A victory for Lens will take them provisionally above the capital side, with PSG playing rivals Olympique de Marseille on Sunday evening. 

Pierre Sage will be able to rely on the returning Samson Baidoo in the centre of his defence, which means that the teenager Kyllian Antonio will drop to the bench after starting in the victories over Le Havre AC in the league and ESTAC Troyes in the Coupe de France. 

Allan Saint-Maximin’s return to France was the big story for Les Lensois on transfer deadline day. The former France youth international made his debut off the bench against Troyes. Again, he’ll likely have to settle for minutes off the bench again this afternoon.
