Marco Rose will take over at Bournemouth next season, succeeding Andoni Iraola after three years in charge.

The club said in a statement on Monday that the 49-year-old has agreed a three-year deal and will start this summer.

Under Iraola, Bournemouth consolidated their Premier League status, finishing 12th in 2023-24 and 9th in 2024-25.

With five matches remaining this season, they are 8th, level on points with 6th-placed Chelsea, and remain in contention to qualify for Europe.

Rose, previously part of the Red Bull set-up, left Leipzig after his dismissal in March 2025, having earlier managed Borussia Mönchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund.

He won the German Cup and the German Supercup with Leipzig in 2023.
