Serie A champions Napoli are giving consideration to a January offer for Barcelona star Marc Casadó.

That’s according to Fichajes, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest on the future of the 22-year-old.

Casadó has of course enjoyed an increasingly prominent role in Catalunya’s capital over recent weeks.

Amid an injury crisis in Hansi Flick’s squad, the Spanish international has been increasingly relied upon to fill the deep-lying midfield berth.

Along the way, however, Casadó does not appear to have done enough to secure his status as untransferrable.

As per a report from Fichajes, in the case of a €30 million offer arriving for his signature in January, Barcelona’s board would be willing to sanction a sale.

With as much in mind, Antonio Conte’s Napoli have begun sniffing around Casadó’s signature.

On the lookout for reinforcements in the middle of the park for the 2nd half of the campaign, the Partenopei have earmarked the youngster as the ideal profile of player.

A winter proposal for Casadó’s services could well therefore be tabled by way of the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
