Neymar arrives at Santos hotel for decisive clash with Remo | OneFootball

Neymar has arrived in Belém, Pará, ahead of Santos’s decisive match against Remo and is now with the squad at the team hotel. The number 10 touched down on Tuesday, the day of the game.

According to Globo.com, the forward landed by private jet alongside his father early in the afternoon, then entered the hotel at around 13:45 Brasília time. He moved quickly through reception, where fans were waiting, before heading for lunch.

Santos face Remo at the Mangueirão at 21:30, with departure from the hotel planned for late afternoon. Neymar will therefore spend only a few hours in camp before kick-off.

He will return to São Paulo the same way after the match, by private jet, then continue by helicopter to Santos. The squad will have Wednesday off.

Neymar did not travel with the group due to a private commitment, attending his institute’s charity auction in São Paulo on Monday night. He then rested at home in Santos and boarded his flight at around 10:00.

There is a possibility he starts on the bench, both to manage his fitness for a potentially demanding second half and penalties, and because Cuca prepared without him. A potential Santos XI including the forward would include Gabriel Brazão, Gabriel Menino, Adonis Frías, João Ananias, Escobar, Willian Arão, Oliva, Gabriel Bontempo, Barreal, Neymar and Gabigol.
