Queens Park Rangers have been urged to complete the double signing of Sunderland's Anthony Patterson and Stoke City's Bae Jun-Ho before Monday's 7pm transfer deadline.

It's been a relatively steady window at Loftus Road thus far, with Julien Stephan making just two additions to his squad in Ronnie Edwards and Justin Obikwu, who both arrived on permanent deals.

Despite doing most of their important business in the summer, QPR are still looking to add a couple more faces before the window closes on Monday, with a goalkeeper being one of the main targets in the dying embers of the month.

The R's sit slap-bang in the middle of the Championship table, but are still well in the mix for a play-off spot. With that in mind, the London club will be looking to end the window in the strongest shape possible.

Before the deadline, Football League World spoke to their resident QPR expert, Louis Moir, and asked him to suggest two players he'd like to see join the R's in the final few days of the month.

Louis was quick to point out that the Superhoops are in need of a new man in between the sticks, and suggested that promotion-winning Sunderland goalkeeper Patterson would be an ideal acquisition in that position.

The 25-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the Stadium of Light, and could now be set for a return to the Championship, where he will find minutes much easier to come by. Louis believes that his side should pounce to win the race for his services.

"I think if I could sign two players before the deadline this month, a keeper would definitely be one, and I think [QPR should sign] Anthony Patterson from Sunderland, whether it be a loan, permanent, whatever," he told FLW.

"I think he's a top keeper, and I'd be shocked if he doesn't get a move somewhere. Whichever Championship club get him have got a very good keeper on their hands, and I just think that would be an ideal signing for us.

"It's one that's realistic as well, you could see it potentially happening. I really rate him and if we do get a keeper, he's surely got to be high up on that list."

Millwall are reportedly interested in signing Patterson this month, but if QPR move fast, they can beat their London rivals to his signing, in what would be a real coup for the R's.

The other player Louis is keen to see his side add before Monday is Stoke forward Bae Jun-Ho. QPR are already loaded with attacking power, but Moir believes that another addition to their forward ranks wouldn't go amiss, after Stephan made a tactical tweak against Wrexham.

"Another player who is a bit of a rogue shout and one you could argue is not very realistic, but I really rate Bae Jun-Ho at Stoke," he said.

"You might look at him and think we've got a lot of attacking players in that position, but against Wrexham we changed formation to a 4-2-3-1, had Harvey Vale in the number 10 position, which would normally be Ilias Chair, but he's been out injured for a long time.

"Karamoko Dembélé has hardly been playing in that position, more out on the right, and I just think potentially we could have room there for an extra number 10-type player.

"With Bae Jun-Ho, Stoke fans may say consistency-wise he's not there, he's got the talent, but he doesn't show it enough. Every time I saw him, I really liked him. I think he's a top player and still young as well.

"He's a player who I doubt would be overly expensive. I think it's a bit of a rogue one, but Bae Jun-Ho as another number 10, if we continue this 4-2-3-1, he would fit straight in.

"This late in the January transfer window, Stoke would probably want a lot of money, but in the summer you never know," Louis concluded.
