Raul Jimenez left the door ajar for a Wolves return after Sunday’s final home game at Molineux, saying, 'Why not? There is always a possibility. Let’s see,' in an interview with ExpressAndStar.com, which also understands there have been early conversations about a potential comeback.
He added, 'It would be nice, more after today, let’s see.' Asked if a move could happen this summer, he said, 'I don’t know, maybe. But I don’t know.'
He remains Wolves’ record Premier League scorer with 40, achieved during a five-year spell. He left in 2023 with 57 in all competitions and has since scored 28 in almost 100 appearances for Fulham.
His remarks prompted a surge of reaction from supporters. Many urged him to come home and finish the story, arguing his experience would suit the Championship and give the club a lift.
Others pushed back, citing his age at 35 and arguing for younger, Championship-proven forwards who can play regularly and deliver 20-plus goals. Some warned a reunion would be a backward step.
