Raul Jimenez was serenaded by Wolves supporters during the 1-1 draw with Fulham at Molineux, and the striker has left the door ajar to a possible return with his contract up this summer.

Wolves’ final home game brought a goal from outside the box by Mateus Mane, then he conceded a penalty that Antonee Robinson converted. Jimenez, now with Fulham, came on after 67 minutes to a warm ovation.

“Why not? There is always a possibility. Let’s see. It would be nice, more after today, let’s see.” He told E&S.

Asked if a move could happen this summer, he added: “I don’t know, maybe. But I don’t know.”

Jimenez spent five years at Molineux from 2018 to 2023, a spell cherished by fans, though it ended sourly when Julen Lopetegui did not let him feature in the final home game against Everton. Soon after leaving, he said the departure had been hard, that he and his family loved life in Wolverhampton, missed people there, yet felt settled at Fulham.

He is out of contract this summer, so will be a free agent, and a reunion could be explored if terms suit all parties.
