Real Madrid are reaping the rewards of their strategy to sell young talents from their academy while retaining control over their future through future sell-on clauses and buyback clauses.
Nico Paz, who joined Como in 2024, has excelled in Italy and is all set to return to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
Meanwhile, Victor Munoz, who signed for Osasuna last year, has also done well, leading to talks of a potential move back to Valdebebas before next season.
Jacobo Ramon is another such player who left Real Madrid in a similar arrangement to that of Nico Paz and Victor Munoz.
Having signed for Como last year, the 21-year-old centre-back has been performing very well. And, according to El Mundo, Real Madrid highly value his development and progression in Italy.

Indeed, Los Blancos consider the Spanish defender a candidate for a return to the club, although they prefer to wait until the summer of 2027 to pull the trigger.
Ramon signed for Como in a deal worth €2.5 million for 50% of his rights, while Real Madrid retained a buyback clause for each of his first three seasons in Italy.
In his very first season in Italy, the 21-year-old La Fabrica graduate has become a regular in Cesc Fabregas’ side. He has played 30 matches in all competitions, even scoring two goals in the process.
Real Madrid are happy with his progression under Fabregas and see his return to the club as a possibility.
However, the idea is to make it happen in 2027, when Antonio Rudiger, who is expected to sign a one-year renewal, moves on from the club.
