Santos partner with Formula Truck driver Alex ‘Peixeiro’ Vieira | OneFootball

Santos have agreed a partnership with Formula Truck driver Alex ‘Peixeiro’ Vieira, who will represent the club throughout 2026. The tie-up strengthens the club’s link with motorsport and aims to engage supporters.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the businessman is a lifelong Santos fan, and his nickname stems from his Santos-based firm, Box do Santista.

His passion for the Alvinegro Praiano is long-standing and he will now carry the colours on track. He began in drag racing and accepted an invitation when Formula Truck returned, a world he had not expected to join.

Club, city and commerce have long been intertwined in his life, with the family business using Santos-inspired imagery. The role is a dream with added responsibility, and he aims to fight for the title again and be in a position to win it.

The next Formula Truck round is at Interlagos, the Autódromo Jose Carlos Pace, on Sunday one. Vieira will race in a customised truck carrying the club crest. Tickets for the weekend are on sale via the competition website.
