Nantes beat Marseille 3-0 on Saturday at Stade de la Beaujoire - Louis Fonteneau to end an eight-match winless run.
In the 50th minute, Igniatius Kpene Ganago steered in Matthis Abline's pass to the bottom left corner.
Rémy Cabella doubled the advantage (54.), finishing a fast break from a Ganago assist, before Abline swept in Mohamed Kaba's cut-back (58.).
Patrik Carlgren made eight saves as Les Phocéens pressed after the restart, thwarting Ange Lago and Mason Greenwood with sharp stops.
Marseille introduced Lago and Igor Paixão at half-time, but Les Canaris continued to find space in transition.
Deiver Machado went off injured midway through the first half, with Mathieu Acapandié coming on.
Les Canaris registered 17 attempts and won seven corners. Les Olympiens had 57.7% possession and recorded eight shots on target from 16 attempts.
Next, Les Canaris visit Lens. Les Phocéens travel to Le Havre.
