After latest defeat, Colón hit by injuries before Mendoza trip

Iván Delfino started the week with physical issues in the Colón squad ahead of Sunday’s crucial 6:00 p.m. match against GodoyCruz in ZoneA of the PrimeraNacional. Alarm bells went off because Matías Muñoz and Ignacio Lago have very little chance of traveling to Mendoza.

The condition of the affected players is detailed below:

Matías Muñoz (Ruled out): The midfielder suffered an adductor tear during the warm-up before the match against Deportivo Morón, which had already kept him out of that squad.
Ignacio Lago (Doubtful): The forward is dealing with calf muscle discomfort caused by a knock against «Gallito». Although conflicting reports are circulating about the severity of the injury, the coaching staff is awaiting the official medical report.
Pier Barrios and Federico Lértora (Under watch): Both finished the last match with physical pain. However, they are not expected to have any issues being available in Mendoza.
