Alexander Bah named in Denmark squad for 2026 World Cup play-offs | OneFootball

Alexander Bah has been recalled to the Denmark squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying play-offs.

According to Glorioso 1904, the Benfica full-back is among 25 players named by Brian Riemer, alongside Morten Hjulmand and Victor Froholdt. The list also features Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund.

Denmark face North Macedonia on 26 March, and if they win they will meet the winners of Czechia against the Republic of Ireland on 31 March. If they qualify for the June tournament, they would face Mexico, South Africa and South Korea in Group A.

Hjulmand and Froholdt have been regulars in recent squads, while Bah is the notable returnee, having not played for the national team since 15 November 2024 because of a serious injury.

This season, Alexander Bah, valued at nine million euros, has featured in four matches, all in Liga Portugal Betclic. Across 161 minutes he has scored one goal against AFS SAD.
