Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been fined £8,000, about €9,300, for inappropriate conduct.

The FA said the sanction relates to Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest on 29 August in the Premier League, and that Becker admitted the charge and received the standard penalty.

The Brazil international, 33, had been booked during the match for dissent and was visibly frustrated by the result.

After the game, he kicked the electronic substitution board near the tunnel to the dressing rooms, damaging it. The moment was captured on video.

Becker has 83 caps for Brazil.
