Millwall beat Norwich City 3-0 at The Den on Saturday to rise from second to first in the Championship.

In the 18th minute, Taïryk Arconte turned in from close range to put the hosts ahead.

After the restart, Arconte struck again from Jake Cooper's headed pass following a set piece (58.). He is now joint first in the Championship scoring charts on two goals.

José Córdoba received a second yellow and was sent off for the Canaries (64.), tilting the game further in the Lions' favour.

Substitute Luke Cundle sealed it from Camiel Neghli's breakaway pass (84.), capping a clinical home display.

The Lions registered 19 attempts, seven on target, and forced eight corners. The Canaries managed eight attempts with two on target.
