Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard was not seen with the Gunners squad earlier today on their pre-match walk ahead of the Everton game, according to insider Connor Humm.

Humm is an Arsenal insider who regularly breaks news on the Emirates Stadium club and all things concerning Mikel Arteta and his squad.

He is followed on X by the likes of Dharmesh Sheth, Ryan Taylor and Fabrizio Romano and he shared the update this morning.

The former Sky Sports producer has been spot on with most of his scoops in the past and it is safe to say Trossard will not be playing against the Toffees later today.

The Belgian did not feature against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Wednesday in Germany, with Arteta revealing afterwards that he was not feeling comfortable to play despite training on Tuesday.

Trossard sustained a knock in the first-half of the FA Cup game against Mansfield Town last Saturday and was unable to continue after going down.

He returned to training on Tuesday but was not fit enough to feature against Leverkusen and it appears the Everton game has come too early for him.

Arsenal are also without Martin Odegaard but will fancy their chances of picking up all three points today in the absence of their captain and the Belgium international.

A victory will be huge for the North London club as it would take them closer to clinching the Premier League title.

They have just eight league games left this season and will become champions if they win seven of them and Manchester City do not drop points.

Arsenal need all their top players available right now and Arteta will hope Trossard and Odegaard return sooner rather than later.
