Aston Villa left-back Lucas Digne to undergo PSG medical | OneFootball

Aston Villa and France international left-back Lucas Digne (33) will return to PSG after spending two seasons in the French capital more than ten years ago. L’Equipe reports that Digne, who turns 33 today, is set to undergo a medical with the back-to-back UEFA Champions League winners before penning a three-year deal with Les Parisiens. PSG triggered Digne’s release clause, which is valued at €10m.

Digne is expected to act as Nuno Mendes’ back-up in Luis Enrique’s squad. The Spaniard will reunite with Digne ten years after the latter spent the 2016-2017 season under his tutelage at Barcelona. Digne leaves Aston Villa as an Europa League winner. He joined the Birmingham-based club in 2022 from Premier League rivals Everton.
