Manchester City have completed the signing of Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, the club confirmed at midday on Wednesday. The Moroccan international has joined on a contract to 2031, as announced a few days earlier.
The deal is worth €100m, delivering Lille’s biggest sale in their history. It is also a record transfer fee for a Ligue 1 club selling to a foreign side.

Bouaddi, 18, has impressed in Ligue 1, the Champions League and at the World Cup with Morocco.
The sale will help the finances of the club chaired by Olivier Létang.
