The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are tracking a quintet of central defenders, with a view to next season.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have this weekend provided an insight into the situation.
Despite the transfer window having only just come to a close, those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou are already back at work with a view to securing future reinforcements.
More specifically, Barcelona are eyeing fresh additions to the club’s central defensive ranks.
Amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding the futures of both Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araújo, Deco and co. are understood to have drawn up a shortlist of potential targets.
And according to MD, as things stand, the following quintet of players feature front and centre on the Blaugrana’s wishlist:
Gonçalo Inácio (Sporting CP), Murillo (Nottingham Forest), Luiz Benedetti (Palmeiras), Marc Guéhi (Crystal Palace) and Lucas Beraldo (Paris Saint-Germain).
It now remains to seen which of these stoppers Deco and co. ultimately choose to focus their attentions on.
