Barcelona’s Marc Casado (22) has been offered to AS Monaco, as per a report from Mundo Deportivo. It remains to be seen whether the Principality club are receptive to the idea of signing the Spain international.
The publication understands that Casado is in search of more game time, despite nonetheless playing 34 games for the La Liga champions last season. Mendes was in the Principality over the weekend as he sought to wrap up deals for Filipe Luis, who is set to replace Sébastien Pocognoli as manager, and Ansu Fati, who spent last season on loan at Monaco.
L’Équipe understands that Luis has already signed his Monaco contract remotely, whilst Fati is nearing a permanent move to the Principality club. A move for Casado was also broached, with the midfielder offered by the agent.
However, Monaco would face significant competition to sign the Spaniard, who is also of interest to clubs in Spain, England, and Saudi Arabia.
