Bayern Munich completed one of the greatest Bundesliga seasons of all time with a celebratory, and thoroughly dominant, 5-1 win on the final day against Köln.

Bayern's thumping victory capped off what has been a truly extraordinary goal-scoring season.

The German giants netted 122 goals across 34 league matches, smashing their own Bundesliga record (101 goals), which has stood since 1972.

In fact, Bayern's 2025/26 Bundesliga campaign is now the second highest-scoring season in the history of Europe's top 5 leagues, second only to Torino's 1947/48 campaign (125 goals). Real Madrid are third, at 122 in 2011/12.

Unsurprisingly, Harry Kane looked in fine form today, scoring his fourth league hat-trick of the season with ease.

After the match, Kane took home the Torjägerkanone (Bundesliga top-scorer), thanks to a whopping 36 goals in 31 league appearances.

The 32-year-old has now reached 36 goals in two of his three Bundesliga seasons at the club, a mark of his elite goalscoring and Bayern's overwhelming dominance.

While, for his part, Michael Olise was named Bundesliga Player of the Season, contributing an impressive 15 goals and 19 assists in 32 league appearances.

So, is Vincent Kompany's 2025/26 side among the best teams in Bundesliga history?
