Personal terms have been agreed already, and the two clubs are now sorting out the final structural details of the deal, as Bayern keen to sign Nathaniel Brown in the coming days.

Nathaniel Brown: Details of the deal

Christian Falk has exclusively told CFBayern that Nathaniel Brown’s move to Bayern Munich is now nearing completion.

It was initially discussed that Frankfurt would ask for a fee of around €65m, but it appears that Bayern are paying a lot less.

Falk said: “The left-back’s move to Bayern Munich is in the home stretch, with negotiations between Frankfurt board member for sport Markus Krösche (45) and his Munich counterpart Max Eberl (52) nearing completion. The clubs are currently looking at a transfer fee of 55 million euros. Bayern might well add a little extra to finally seal the deal; discussions are now focusing on the precise split between the fixed fee and bonus payments.

“While a total sum of 65 million euros was initially discussed, the figure is now likely to be slightly lower. Frankfurt did not dig their heels in completely this time, as they did not want to stand in the way of Brown’s move. It remains an incredible deal for Eintracht, considering the club originally signed Brown from Nuremberg for 3.5 million euros plus bonuses.”

Great piece of business for all parties involved

It is indeed a fantastic piece of business, and all parties reap benefit.

Frankfurt signed Brown from Nuremberg for just €3.5 plus bonuses, and for them it is a huge profit. It is a fabulous deal for them, and they can reinvest in the squad and buy some quality players in the summer.

Brown wanted a move to Bayern, and he will get his wish. So, it is a great move for the young defender who will now get to play with some of the top players in the world on a regular basis.

For Bayern, it is a smart investment. Brown has enjoyed two fantastic seasons with Frankfurt and there is plenty to come from him. He has tremendous potential, and the fact that Bayern got him ahead of Arsenal by paying less shows how serious they were in signing him.
