Borussia Dortmund ‘to extend’ Schlotterbeck contract to 2031 | OneFootball

After months of negotiations, Borussia Dortmund are close to extending Schlotterbeck’s contract, Bild reports.

The key terms are understood to be agreed, covering contract length, salary and a release clause.

If everything goes to plan, the defender’s deal would run from 2027 to 2031, with a €60 million clause active from 2027.

The contract would be worth up to €14 million per year, including bonuses.

New Dortmund sporting director Nils-Ole Book is awaiting Schlotterbeck’s final commitment, and the club hope to confirm the extension in early April.
