The Portuguese Football Federation has announced the venue of Portugal’s final home match in the group phase of the Nations League 2026/27 tournament.

The Seleção will return to Braga’s iconic Estádio Municipal for the clash against Denmark on 14 November.

Portugal are defending the trophy they won for a second time in 2025, when they beat Spain in the final in Munich in a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw.

With new coach Jorge Jesus at the helm, Portugal have been drawn in a group containing Denmark, Norway and Wales. The teams finishing in the top two places qualify for the quarter-finals.

The campaign kicks off two weeks today, on 24 September, when Portugal host Wales at Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon.

The team will then fly to Scandinavia to play Norway in Oslo and Denmark in Copenhagen, before returning to Portugal for a fourth game in the same international window, as they host Norway at Estádio do Dragão in Porto.

The final two matches will take place in a more conventional shorter timeframe for international qualifiers.

Braga will welcome the national team to the Quarry on 14 November as they face the Danes on home soil, before ending the group stage with a visit to Cardiff in Wales three days later.

The Portuguese national team have played on three previous occasions at the Municipal Stadium of Braga, most memorably clinching qualification for Euro 2016 thanks to a João Moutinho goal in October 2015 in a 1-0 win against Denmark. The Seleção would go on to win the European Championship in France the following summer.
