Bruma departs Benfica for Aris Thessaloniki, offers special thanks to Rui Costa | OneFootball

Bruma has left Benfica after terminating his contract, and will continue his career at Aris Thessaloniki, ending an 18-month spell at Estádio da Luz.

His exit follows his omission from Marco Silva's plans for 2026/27, with both parties agreeing to end his deal. The player said in a post that he was leaving with the same honour and pride as on the day he arrived.

He thanked supporters and staff and singled out president Rui Costa, who he said was by his side from arrival to farewell.

Bruma also recalled a goal in the Azores and moments at Seixal during his time with the club.

He joined Benfica from Braga in January 2025 in a deal valued at 6.5 million euros. This move to Aris is his second spell in Greek football after Olympiacos.
