Camara’s early strike gives Castellón opening win at Real Sociedad B | OneFootball

Castellón started their Segunda campaign with a 1-0 win at Real Sociedad B. Camara struck after six minutes in Zubieta, ending defeats in their previous two openers at Eibar and Santander.

Head coach Pablo Hernández kept continuity, making only three changes from last season’s finale and starting just two of 11 signings, Juanjo Nieto and Álvaro Martín. Sanse pushed late as Gorka Carrera had the ball in the net twice, both ruled offside, before Matthys thwarted him again to preserve the lead. Castellón managed the closing stages without frills, avoided the late lapses that cost points last term, and saw out a hard-earned opening victory.
