Bernard Nguene - OGC Nice
Bernard Nguene signed a contract extension with OGC Nice this Friday, September 26. The young Cameroonian forward has extended his deal by an additional year and is now tied to the Côte d'Azur club until June 2029.
Bernard Nguene has flourished in the red and black jersey since arriving in September 2024 from Brasseries du Cameroun. The native of Cameroon celebrated his 19th birthday on August 4 and wears the number 49 for Nice. In his first season with Le Gym, Nguene made just one appearance with the first team in Ligue 1. For the 2025/2026 campaign, the Cameroonian already has two outings in the French top flight.
"I am very happy to extend my contract," he said. "It's a sign of trust from the club. I've experienced a lot of changes in a year and I've been fortunate to be well supported. I learn every day and I'll keep working hard to contribute more and more to the team," said the Cameroonian after signing his new deal.
