Caraguá to face STJD over May red card as Corinthians cited for delays | OneFootball

Corinthians will face two STJD hearings on Thursday, covering a delayed restart against Barra and midfielder Caraguá's May dismissal.

According to Meu Timao, the 21 April first leg of the Copa do Brasil restarted two minutes late, an infraction under CBJD article 206 that carries a R$ 1,000 per minute fine.

The second case stems from the 28 May Brasileiro Sub-20 match with Red Bull Bragantino, when referee Guilherme Nunes de Santana dismissed Caraguá early in the second half for excessive force on an opponent's leg. Charged under article 254, paragraph one, item I, he faces a ban of one to six matches if found guilty.

The club will also be heard on Wednesday for a similar issue, after a four minute half-time delay against Flamengo in the league last Sunday. That session is set for 15h and should result in a R$ 4,000 fine.

Thursday's cases will be heard by separate panels. The Barra delay is listed with the Seventh Disciplinary Commission for 14h45, while Caraguá's case goes to the Sixth Disciplinary Commission at 15h.
