CBF seals R$ four billion deal for Copa do Brasil rights to 2030 | OneFootball

The Brazilian Football Confederation has sealed a R$ four billion broadcast deal for the Copa do Brasil from 2027 to 2030, with coverage by Grupo Globo, Amazon Prime Video and a third broadcaster.

UOL reports that ESPN is the unnamed partner, which has not yet been confirmed by the federation.

The deal is estimated at 80% up on the previous cycle. From next year there will be more broadcast windows and fewer schedule clashes, and a unified CBF TV graphics package for all rightsholders.

CBF president Samir Xaud said the agreement increases value, visibility and reach, adds technology and transmission options, and brings the competition closer to fans nationwide.

The package also covers the Supercopa do Brasil. The 2027 edition stays under the current contract, while 2028-2031 are included in the new deal.

In 2027 the cup will feature 128 clubs and 157 matches, and keep the one-off final that debuts this year in Brasília.

Corinthians have already secured a berth for the next edition by finishing among the top five in the Paulistão, and would also qualify by staying in Série A.

After lifting a fourth crown in 2025, Corinthians exited in the last 16 to Internacional. Atlético Mineiro, Grêmio, Palmeiras and Vasco da Gama remain in contention, and the winners will receive almost R$ 100 million.

With the cup no longer on their schedule, Fernando Diniz's side face Flamengo at the Maracanã on Sunday at 17:30 in round 27 of the Brasileirão.
